August 1st – Church Picnic

Picnic will be at the home of Denny & Bernice Meyer –
278 Mulligan Rd. 

AUGUST 14 – “to save a life”

If you missed the first showing of the movie last month – you’re in luck!  There will be a second showing of “To Save a Life”, Saturday, August 14th.  Doors open at 5:00 with the movie beginning at 5:30 PM.  This is a very powerful movie, targeted at teens and dealing with issues such as suicide, peer pressure, teen pregnancy, drinking, drugs and cutting.  The movie is rated PG-13, so please be advised if considering bringing children under that age.  Popcorn and drinks will be provided.

August 23 – Teachers meeting

Here we go again!!  Time to start getting things ready for Sunday school.  We would like to have all current and interested teachers and substitutes attend an organizational meeting foe the fall classes.  We will be meeting downstairs of the CEC, Monday, Aug. 23rd @ 6:30.
